Status: CLOSED Address: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 Concept: brasserie Opened: 2010 — Blue Ribbon’s first location outside of New York City

Overview

Blue Ribbon Brasserie at the Cosmopolitan was a landmark opening — the first time the Brombergs took the original brasserie concept beyond New York. Opening in 2010 at one of the Strip’s newest and most premium properties, it brought the late-night French-American format that defined Blue Ribbon’s NYC identity into the Las Vegas resort market.

The Cosmopolitan partnership ultimately housed two Blue Ribbon concepts at the property: the Brasserie and the American Grill & Oyster Bar.

Significance

As Blue Ribbon’s first non-NYC location, the Brasserie at the Cosmopolitan marked the beginning of the group’s national expansion. It proved the brand could travel beyond its home market while maintaining identity.
