Blue Ribbon
Bruce co-founded Blue Ribbon with his brother eric-bromberg in 1992, opening the original brasserie at 97 Sullivan Street in SoHo. The concept was a direct expression of their Paris training — late-night, unfussy, serious food.
The name “Blue Ribbon” is the English translation of “Cordon Bleu,” a direct reference to their shared education.
Bruce remains an active operating partner across all Blue Ribbon operations.
