Blue Ribbon

Eric co-founded Blue Ribbon with his brother bruce-bromberg in 1992. He was involved in recruiting many of the original team — kris-polak and michael-paritsky both trace their connection to Eric from pre-Blue Ribbon years (Nick and Eddie, 1990; Michael’s 40-year relationship with Eric).

Eric personally partnered with toshi-ueki in 1995 to open Blue Ribbon Sushi — the partnership that launched the sushi division.


Historic Achievement

Eric was the first American to teach at Le Cordon Bleu Paris — a distinction noted prominently in official press materials and key to understanding the depth of the Blue Ribbon culinary pedigree.
